A Future Only He Can See –

“Every experience God gives us, every person He puts in our lives, is the perfect preparation for a future only He can see.” -Corrie ten Boom

“And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.” –Psalms 139:16

The question is, do you trust Him? Are you following Him? If you are walking in Him, then know that He will care for you.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. -Romans 8:28

For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death. -Psalms 48:14

Yeah, that’s very important to remember always that God has plans for us, and WHAT plans He has for us. They are like in Jeremiah: For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the LORD” 🙂 Okay I just shared one of my favorite verses 😉 It’s so amazing that God had everything about us planned out before we were even born… God chose us before He created the earth and loved us… It’s just so comforting… That He’s going to take care of us… always and for sure and He won’t let go of us or just abandon. And his hand isn’t shortened, that it cannot save, He is mighty to save…
These are the most amazing and comforting and strengthening promises. And I want to trust them with all my heart, I don’t know why I don’t do that so often… and doubt God in so many things!! I don’t want to! I want to grow in Him.
Thanks again for this Rachel Allison, “He will be our guide even to death.” – I’ll be hanging on to that 🙂
    God Bless,

    • What comfort there is in trusting our God! I look forward to the day when I can trust Him fully, without the struggle of my fallen nature. It’s so frustrating at times the way that we doubt, and yet He doesn’t give up on us, even when we wish to give up on ourselves. He loves us because He has chosen to love us, not because we showed any signs of goodness or righteousness. In response, we follow Him – through His grace – to the best of our ability… and He is patient and faithful through it all. 🙂
Thanks for reading and commenting, Ania!

Yes, He most certainly WILL care for us… as we choose to trust Him. That’s always the hard part. And it’s hard because we make it hard by allowing doubt to overtake our faith. Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!

    • Amen! You have said what I find myself saying constantly…. Lord, I believe; help my unbelief! Thankfully, He remains faithful, even when our faith is weak. What an awesome God we serve. 🙂
